REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE – 2ND QUARTER, 2016
Second quarter real estate activity in Sonoma County predictably saw a marked increase over the previous quarter. 1,410 homes were sold as compared to 833 last quarter. The average price held from last quarter, and was up 4.6% from the second quarter of 2015.
Sebastopol has experienced a volume of sales comparable to Healdsburg and the current average price beat Sonoma city! Healdsburg leads the county in average price at $1,488,000, a 29.4% increase over the second quarter of 2015, and a 41.4% increase over the first quarter of 2016. Meanwhile, Sonoma city’s average price slid downward to $872,000.
